check out the price difference, for a small bit more $$ you can get a mast made in the USA that has been proven for years. The CHinooks are made in a far off land, likely with low quality standards.
And I have bent many of them and the spec #'s are not what are printed on the mast. Again, low quality standards in production.
Everyone is allowed their opinion right...? Theres mine |

I'm curious about the sail line up. I can't find any info on area size. When one jumps into a system like this I would think there has to some sort of cross reference to know what to rig. It looks like they're increasing the boom and luff lengths but maybe alot more area to head/roach? It would be fun for some one to ask what you're rigging and all you say is "medium!" _________________ The Time a Person Spends Windsurfing is not Deducted from their Lifespan...

I was told that the "Medium" had the power about equal to a 4.2 M. wave sail, but I have never tried them, A couple of people at Swell City last year used them and had positive comments. Looks interesting to me......4 sails, one Mast....and Naish sails look well constructed too....Ezzy would have you buying 3.5 masts for the same quiver. At around $500 a pop.
I only commented on them in reference to the mast questions, and their uses.

It is not a gimmick, but there is a trade-off and that is in the upper range. The low aspect ratio geometry with shorter booms & luff lengths along with fewer battens was passed on to their slalom range as well. I have the 2012 Indy 8.2 that is very compact and rigs on a 460 mast instead of a 490. The luff & boom length are exactly the same as my 7.3 sail. I have the power of an 8.2 in the feel of a 7.3 sail and I didn’t have to buy a 490 mast ($$$$$$).

Probably Washington. The biggest sail I loaded in my van last night was a 5.0 and it is looking like I'm going to need 6.0 or better for Seco today. Doesn't appear the wind is filling in east of I5.

I'll be at Seco with the big Open Ocean. I'd like to see how the big arse 7.5 Cheetah does on it although 6.0 will probably be the call the way the valley is filling in. Have fun! _________________ The Time a Person Spends Windsurfing is not Deducted from their Lifespan...
