To me, nothing better than a Friday night surf or sail.
Wednesday's total solo session was my first strike after the winter's hibernation. New bar configurations have yet to sort themselves out. I got a dozen+ very good lefthanders north of Mac's, some waist++. All far enough out to be in future shark territory. Once while loitering around near the impact zone a Tsunami-like set, which broke about 200' further out, gave me a taste of the cold water.
The fish taco plate is good; fortunately my wife does a better job.

The noted above spot, north of you know who's, had a nasty inner-bar rip and long riding unbroken swells. It was much better suited for paddle power.
Until I can dig my bare toes into the hand hold, you guys can have all, or most, of the rights |

tired and late getting home at 5:35 I said WTF - jumped in my suit and and was in the water by 6:10.
Pleasantly surprised with some decent shaped knee to some times knee+. Easy and a bunch of rides made possible by having a paddle. I don't think I saw anyone at all, out or back.
2 times in a row beyond SP4 with almost all lefts.
Even with the small waves, a bar still further north was breaking maybe 1000' off shore. It must be really shallow out there.
1 dead seal on the beach with half its torso gone ---

Went to the Red Roof Church this morning for the early morning service. Knee high and supper clean glass. Tons of nice little clean rides.
Wavedawg half the torso missing sounds like a bit of a bite mark to me. _________________ www.Clew-View.com

I experienced JE's religion starting at 7 on home turf. It was a summer day with no hood or gloves. Too bad no other locals took advantage of it.
That seal - still there and now the wild kingdom has fully exposed the rib cage.
