Beware of fact checkers purporting to be unbiased. From your linked piece....
President Barack Obama said they [health insurance premiums] would go down – compared with what they’d normally be without the law.
No he didn't. He said, repeatedly, they would go down $2,500. That will be a simple statistic to check. |

Anybody who thinks factcheck.org is unbiased needs to do some research on that. It's right at your fingertips.
BTW ... how is "more than doubling" health insurance premiums for many people and small businesses, as is being announced to insurance "retailers" by the folks who set the premiums as we type, "reducing them by $2,500"?
I call BSNBC on that. |

For those that delight in claiming that insurance premiums are skyrocketing, I'll offer a different position based on my reality. My 2012 versus 2013 monthly healthcare premium reflected a reduction of 35%, from $198 to $128. Maybe one of our gloom and doom Republicans can explain why that happened in reverse of their predictions. Just for the record, I made no changes in the plan choice I made. |

Fact check is biased and talk radio and Drudge are clear true facts.
I have a great business investment for you guys. They will give you a great deal on the Empire State Buiding. It will be on Talk Radio as soon as we pay them enough money to support it.
You know, like Beck with gold. How is that genius move working out for his clients? |

I am almost ready to believe that mrgybe has posted an accurate assessment of Obama-care without spin. As soon as he provides a detailed analysis of the benefits of austerity in Europe, consistently provides citations for his quotes so we can see whether they were spun or taken out of context, and apologizes for his whoppers of the past. |

Interesting article Gybe. They are saying that folks who make more than $60 to 90K a year will pay more for insurance in part because they will get better coverage and part because the poor will get covered and not just die all wrapped up in blanket alone from a simple to cure infection.
I am OK with both better coverage for more money and saving a few helpless poor children for a few bucks a month.
I don't like large gov programs for the reasons outlined by Techno. Same reason I don't like large governments.
On the other hand the system is broken and only Os people have shown the courage to try to fix it. The biggest opponents of the program are those in the health biz who think it will reduce their monstrous profits.
The second group opposed are those who are against ALL programs that give credit to Obama no matter how much Americans benefit.
Those people are traitors to our society and should be given the chance to die in the street from a cut on their foot. |

No need for screed. You just declared yourself a socialist. I'm right of center. Your privilege, my privilege. |
HA!!! The sky is purple! Up is down! Isobars is 'right of center'! the world is topsy-turvy!
No, sir, you are not right of center. I am right of center, you are right of crazy-right. Your suggestion that you are somehow "reasonable" is proof of your crazy.
As Pueno has pointed out, aren't you the beneficiary of disability benefits....isn't that.......SOCIALISM?!??!? pot=kettle=black=you .°. QED _________________ Kansas City |
