Congratulations NW, you have now joined forces with Code Pink! Go ahead and drink the kool aid--at Grateful Dead concerts it was often laced with LSD. Oh, you know that already?

NW--you don't get out much do you? You might try reading something besides the Drudge (Grudge?) report. Here, I'll spell it out for you:

Quote:
However, the senator’s amazing feat did earn the respect from many on the left, including some far-left groups.

The far-left anti-war group Code Pink supported Paul throughout the nearly 13 hour filibuster, they even plan to visit his office on Thursday

From a Washington Post interview with Democratic congressmen:
<<Obama has committed to raising money for fellow Democrats, agreed to help recruit viable candidates, and launched a political nonprofit group dedicated to furthering his agenda and that of his congressional allies. The goal is to flip the Republican-held House back to Democratic control, allowing Obama to push forward with a progressive agenda on gun control, immigration, climate change and the economy during his final two years in office, according to congressional Democrats, strategists and others familiar with Obama’s thinking.

“The president understands that to get anything done, he needs a Democratic majority in the House of Representatives,” said Rep. Steve Israel (N.Y.), chairman of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. “To have a legacy in 2016, he will need a House majority in 2014, and that work has to start now.”>>

Anyone to the right of total socialism, or with offspring, or just wanting a bit of freedom left in his miserable life, should be very afraid. A Democratic triumvirate will wreck what we've come to know as the U.S.A. Fortunately, the public is starting to recognize the POS's -- oops, I mean POTUS's -- BS.

And the John Birchers who have taken over the party, with no grasp of history, current events, or strategy, are going to continue to pull the party far to the right--where it will lose.

C'mon Mac, Have you been dropping the LSD? Which Republican is even close to John Birch?

The Koch's and many of the funders are, in fact, Birchers. You must try reading someday.

We have a strange type of socialism here in the good old USA. Both political parties advocate "socialism" for huge corporations. Where a corp. is "too big to fail" tax payer money comes to the rescue! Wonderful! No evil Marxism here. Taxpayer money to rescue! The average working stiff is another matter however. Socialist countries such as Sweden do not bail out Corporations! What we have here is socialism for the wealthiest 1% of the population who control over 50% of the nations wealth. Get a clue guys! These same people who have benefitted from these bailouts are fighting tooth and nail to destroy social programs for everyone else. Why? Because they can't get their hands on this money. They don't want more, more is never enough, they want everything.

Obama has the right idea: Without a strong middle class our economy will not grow. He's given the republicans what they wanted, but as usual they continue to take whatever they can grab and refuse to own up to their resonsibility to help get us out of the mess that they largely created, by refusing to pay even a lousy 2% or3% more in taxes. What a bunch of a$$holes!

Pure BSNBC nonsense, slinky ... not even worthy of debate.
