Bard,
If you go online and listen to Let's Drop the Big One by Randy Newman it may brighten up your day.

BTW, that spook I met in the gym asked me what kind of work I had done in the military. I mentioned Star Wars high energy laser systems, and asked if he was aware that its objective was strictly feasibility, not actual weapons status. His eyebrows shot up in surprise, and he asked me when I left the program. "25 years ago".

His response was gratifying. "That explains it. You would not believe how far it's come since then ... but that's all I can say."

There's just SO much stuff sailing over the heads of our media ... fortunately. Now if our Commander in Chief understood the importance of that. This fellow said the entire CIA, from top to bottom, will never forget the harm our administration did in revealing operational means, methods, and sources so vital to U.S. covert operations, especially just for political convenience and Hollywood's benefit.

Randy Newman is a good guy. Check this out. It's a Republican war....

Seems like Senator Rand is at war with quite a few folks. His nasty comments about White House delays and his filibuster antics are all theater and contrived goofiness. When Republicans like Senators McCain and Graham characterize Rand's show as ridiculous, you know that even their patience has been drawn thin. Rand is a nutty rooster that just wants to be the focus of attention. One wonders what he'll want to do next.

Watching the Republicans implode while the Obama Bull skyrockets daily, is almost as good as a 4.2 mast high day at Waddell.... but not really.

I just got the new x-wave 111 for those schloging Malibu days. Which size did you get? Do you still have the 105? That's still my favorite board for light wind, big surf days, although the x-wave feels similar. I might see you at Waddel this summer. My daughter and her husband live in Oakland and is due to give birth late June. Shocked WTF, I'm too young for this...
