mrgybe, perhaps if you didn't often indulge in offering disparaging comments about many of us here you might have some high ground.

You might be spending less time here these days after the elections, but you still can be depended on for some understated liberal bashing. If you don't like what we say in response to isobars' nonsense, I have to ask, why read and respond to it?

This is very funny. There are only differences in degrees between isobars and mrgybe. Both ignore rebuttals and return to conservative web-based talking points, especially when caught posting some made-up fact. Iso goes off quicker, but both flare when caught in falsehoods. Here's is Iso's comment:

Quote:
Typical liberal response when faced with rational and relevant facts and opinions presented as adult discussion.

Of course, there were factual rebuttals to Iso's claims--which he ignored. Responding with reasoning would involve an adult discussion. Mrgybe, under the theory that any conservative is a good conservative, misses the point that Iso won't have an adult conversation, and brags about how he never reads any liberals commnent on his nonsense. So the oily one steps in to defend Iso. The rest of us are joking to each other--perhaps easy humor because Mike is such an easy target. But then so is mrgybe. Missives from the fact-free world.

They can't possibly be that stupid and still earn enough money to buy a computer. It HAS to be deliberate, or at least a genetic flaw. Their behavior is encouraged by their chortling, sniggering fellow juveniles and boosted by the more rational people who don't openly criticize them for it.

We have now devolved into analyzing the analysis.
But since the thread is about how I am "farked". Let me remind the haters that the S&P 500 closed at 1530 today. Real Estate is raging again, and the stock market is performing quite well....funny...I dont feel "farked'.

See how Obama has singlehandedly "farked" an economy that was handed to him in fine shape by Bush/Cheney?

Good points boggsman! I don't feel farked either. What surprises me is the number of people with such negative attitudes. We are still the greatest nation on earth, and will rise to the challenges we face. " The only thing we have to fear is fear itself." Attitude is everything. We can and will do so much better.
