Checking cams....
Thought i saw a big A-frame, but turns out it was only an iceberg floating by.

Just enough bump to suck me into this mini moron-a-thon...Geez Ger.

2 at CG?

Wintersailing: 2 hours of stuff schlep...1/2 hour of rubber tugging

1 hour sailing ....10 minutes in the parking lot trying to be social

Don't let NWS scare you! They tend to over-estimate gusts this time of the year.

The meter shows 30 in Kalmus right now, range 26-35 = super steady. I have seen you sail in more wind, even when it was cold! Low tide means it's almost like Skaket, you can sail 1/2 mile and still stand. Already 40 F and sunny, will only get warmer. You sure you want to miss this, Ron?

I’m setting my expectations low at the moment

With a virgin 3.7 and low tide at Kalmus, it’s not beyond the imagination of one with chronic addiction disorders.

The wind is steady here too, Old Saybrook Ct. At Knollwood beach ,27 average, gusting to 33, low 19.8 for maybe 1 second. Also been warming up at 1 degree per hour, now it's 41. I'm shooting for noon at Harvey's. This is looking like the best southwesterly I've seen in years. Get out there!

Horseneck maybe, unless its too chewed up. Maybe sideshore at the beach at Allen's Pond off Horseneck Rd, Lots of guys surfing there on long boards for the last month. Nice peeling point break. Worst case - sail in the river . SW is a long reach and it's high tide around 2 pm so there should be enough water and those nice sand flats to stand up on.

Let me know what your're thinking
