Bard does not blindly support the GOP.
Neither of us is a big fan of any part of the US government since about Eisenhower.
It is the default choice for many conservatives.
We are not alone. The crazies in Wyoming who are arming up dont think the GOP represents them either.
Not liking Obama doesn't make you love Bachman.
Standing in church doesn't make you a Christian any more than standing in a garage makes you a car. You can only know the opinion of a person by asking.
Gybes French is perfect by the way.Hats off to him. |

Happy New Year Mrgybe!
Mac...you must admit...You stepped on some toes with your post!
In Colorado, the sophisticated among us buy microbrews. Would it be pretentious to brag of the ice cold IPA I have in front of me? |

CB--I drink beer as well as wine. The point I was trying to make was that much of the richness in life is about new experiences. Here is one of the specific comments by Iso I was spoofing:
Quote: | a poll shows that the Congress is less favored by the American people than:
root canals,
head lice,
colonoscopies,
cockroaches, and even
France. |
The other comment disparaged fine art--which is readily available in Seattle. What I said, and meant, how sad that your prejudices do not allow you to try something new, or to try to appreciate fine art. No intention to offend beer drinkers--and I would lift an Anchor Steam to you.
Now I would admit that such comments could be seen as critical of velvet paintings of Elvis... |

I assume are a speaking of the later Elvis paintings which were nothing more than knock-offs of the originals. |

If anybody needs a plan for establishing a windsurf playhouse that is always there whenever you can find a week now and then, try asking Stephen.
He has it figured out. |
