isobars is always ragging on those down in life and having a rough go of it, especially in such a weak job market and economy. He chock full of the lame talk radio stereotypes about how these folks could be viewed a wanton criminals living the high life, literally stealing from the US Government at our expense as taxpayers. He's so predicable in his convenient hate for literally half the nation.

Do you really think that he's ever looked into the mirror and reflected on what he says here and what others think about him? I think not.

At this point in time, I'd love to have Hillary in the WH right now, things would be soooo much better. Bill, you know the guy, would be talking into her right ear giving her some of his advice, he knew how to move to the center, totally unlike BHO who will double down instead.
"The era of big government is over", nothing wrong with that statement.
I'd love to go back to his spending levels.

You hated him at the time right?
Did you have any problem with the GOP spending more than a $100million on inviting every person who he ever spoke with in his life to come back and get famous by screwing him over?
They made him the he pres. With the highest approval rating ever garnered.
Smart move on his part.

ISO: if still long gold, which I doubt you are, but proclaim to be, you might want to read the Fed minutes released today.

Is it possible that we're seeing the result of unconscious, repressed guilt from himself taking a government handout?

Before, or after he apologized for raising the taxes too high?

Let me understand this............ you applaud that he reduced deficits but resent how he did it?
__________

We know these two facts to be true:

1) Raising taxes increases government revenues.

2) Reducing taxes on the wealthy DOES NOT create more jobs.

Real World Economics 101
According to the NYT the average increase in taxes for folks with incomes between $500K and $1,000,000 a year will be $6 to 7K a year, about $570/mo.
Does anyone here think that those who make $70,000 a month are going to rush down to the toy factory and fire half of the elves to get back that caviar money?
They hire when biz is good and lay folks off when sales are slow, just like I do.
So maybe they will just raise the price of everything in the store by ten bucks, pass it on to the consumer
Problem, the toy stall across the street only makes $450.000/yr and they are holding their prices steady since they don't eat caviar.
The high income folks in my example would see a drop in sales if they do that, and find themselves eating leftover rice and beans instead.

Or maybe they'd have to throttle back on the new Cadillacs -- maybe new ones every 14 months instead of every 12 months.

(Sorry 'bout that, Mitt.)

Are rich folks going to feel the pain? No, they'll just make a bit more money to compensate for their increased taxes. For rich folks, money is always easy. That's where their talent lies, but as we all know, money doesn't buy everything in life.
