If the wind comes, we'll be somewhere. I was wondering how Hardings is in SW? Also, the pool at the cut that you mentioned last time, Jerry - is that the almost enclosed area just across from the lighthouse that you can see on Google Earth?

In N or NE it looks like a good speed run.
I am willing to go to the Cut. Sunday is Dec. 2nd Chatham town ordinance states that all Great Whites must head out of town on Dec. 1st.

The drop happened when the "Quick Look" switched from the GFS model to the NAM model. Happens with almost every good forecast this time of the year. Fortunately, the GFS forecast is more accurate this time of the year, at least for Kalmus in SW. For example, yesterday's prediction around 4 pm for Kalmus was 16 (Quick Look / NAM), but 21 by GFS. I was out planing nicely on 90 l, so it was above 20. My bet is on more than 20 for Sunday.

Old school NOAA is look’n favorable--
COASTAL WATERS FROM PTOWN TO CHATHAM - FRI NOV 30 2012
SUN...S WINDS 15 TO 20 KT WITH GUSTS UP TO 25 KT.
What a shame -- middle aged men, and maybe some women, searching for a fix 2 days out
