Let me rephrase,
you are a BIG DICK

[quote="isobars"]I realize the F and D keys are adjacent, but I'm guessing that wasn't a typo, so that's FICK to you. Wink

Getting back on topic here... I did actually road trip down to DE yesterday and caught a nice afternoon sesh with a bunch of kiters at Lewes Beach. Thanks FunHog for the offer - it was reaaly good to get out of town for the day and sail.

Rob .... glad you grabbed a sesh. I didn't think it was going to be as windy as it turned out to be so I stayed home and had a great day of mountain biking instead.

Sorry to miss a day on the water.

You don't sail here, so what are you doing on an East Coast forum?

Must be quite appealing to have a disaster thread that ends up focused on you. Really..... that's kind of warped.

So no one from east of Boise sails in the PacNW or Maui or Corpus? (Not that it matters, but I've lived in Wilmington and NY, and my maternal family roots are on Long Island; Google Horton's Cove ... my middle name.) You guys aren't the first or only group to face access closures, for many reasons.

Think you guys are the first and only people to experience a disaster? My entire home town, including the home I grew up in, has been under water up to the second floors several times just in my own lifetime. I've shoveled, I've sandbagged, and I've run moonshine to the National Guard troops manning the levee encircling the town. I get it. The OP from DE was trying to help you find some access, and I tried to broaden the scope of his post for anyone's benefit. What I don't get is why you guys don't want to let others discuss the problem in broader terms, especially since many legislative access closure threads originate in your area.

Who made the thread about me? I agree that's warped. My posts have been about access ... anywhere ... not "me". Do you guys think NJ is the whole WSing world? At some point in the future (and down the coast) Sandy's destruction will be (and is already) diminished. At those points, widespread mandatory closure will ease and access will gradually become more practical and legal as and where damage lessens.

If you want to wait until Gov Christie extends each of you written invitations to go windsurfing, feel free. But why forbid others to suggest solutions, and why are you so damned nasty about it? (Don't bother to answer; that was a rhetorical question, the answer to which is one of the reasons I left the east coast.)

You know the philosophy thought puzzle- If a tree falls in the forest...

If a thread is started on this forum and mike fick doesn't pipe in with at least a fifty word spiel about all he knows, is it really a thread?

What percentage of threads do you think I respond to? Tip: it's been researched and posted at least twice.

More important, why is that so important to you?

To feed the monkey, 6.37% of all iW posts are Mr. Friction's.

As the person who started this post ... please just stop !!!! Isn't there enough ugliness in the world ?

Turn your computer off., put down the smatphone... go sail...or surf...or bike....or hug your kids, your wife, your best friend ...and be thankful for the blessings of life.

My last post on the forum ..... ever!
