That graph looks very soild. And you don't get 30 to 45 averaging 40
(which I consider pretty darned steady in that wind range) on
many Westerlies. That would have been lit 3.2 for me, wish I were there.
What was the air temp?

Warm enough for most sailors to sail without gloves, probably around 50 but the wind makes it colder.
