I do think we will clip the 2nd home deduction which is a no brainer, then a sliding cap on primary, based on region.

It's been obvious for two months, but now the unclassified bottom line from Day 1 of the Benghazi hearings, straight from the Vice Chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, makes it clear: Ambassador Rice had been told by the president to lie [he did not use the "lie" word, but made it emphatically clear in multiple ways that that's what it was] to all five Sunday news shows that the Benghazi attack was a spontaneous outburst from a demonstration about the video.

From that, it's equally obvious that Obama's outrage about that issue on Wednesday was clearly mock.

What are some folks going to do when the Benghazi issue disappears into history as an unfortunate event where literally nothing could be done to prevent or stop it?

Hardly, I will repeat some stuff that will keep this alive.
'The terrorists are on retreat, they're on their heels!' From BHO's campaign stump speech that has been going on ever since the SEALS, not BHO, killed OBL.
That's the narrative, that's what has to be preserved, but it's not the truth, hence the cover up, protecting the narrative, one of the most pitiful reasons for a cover up I've ever heard of. The death of 4 Americans to keep the notion alive, seemed to be a price not too big to spend.
This is why it is pale in comparison with Watergate. But there is a dem in the White House this time, with the main stream media circling the wagons around it.
And that is why this one will be very different than Watergate, we have no Woodward and Bernstein willing to jump in with both feet, or even a John Dean willing to tell the truth.
Could Petraeus be today's John Dean?
Hope so, but I think he will wimp out.

If there was a republican prez. in here now for the last 4 years, it would be the same thing all over again (as in Watergate), except this time with even more glee, 4 Americans dead, even better, but Watergate, nobody died, or even got shot.

In terms of the media, this story drips with hypocrisy.
It ain't going to fade anytime soon, there are far too many pissed off about the whole thing.

The only ones "pissed off" (faux outrage is a better description) are those on the far right who resent that Obama won again--and by a substantial margin--and who need to keep the anger 'n hate alive.

Keep stirring that hate pot, NW.

It really is kinda funny. You, Fox, Limbaugh, Hannity, Drudge... quite a zoo of monkeys flinging feces...

In cased you didn't get enough of the Romney 47% comments that really hurt him in the election, his "gift" comments the other day, cement his legacy as a crappy candidate as GOP'ers all over the land are blasting him for the comments.

The number of folks who have died at our embassies is quite large. Partisans care nothing about them.
As part of tne Obama is guilty of everything movement, all bad things in this world are his fault.
All good things are credit for others.
The Pres. can not impose taxes, write laws, or approve a budget.
He is in charge of the military and took charge of killing Bin Laden but did not shoot him by himself.
You blame him for a long list of things he is not in charge of, while denying him credit for success in the things where he is in charge.
Protecting the narrative really is the most pitiful excuse I have ever heard.
It was invented by you.
Nixon robbed offices, had his own secret crime organization paid for by your taxes. He defended his actions by saying "If a President does it, that makes it legal"
Now there is a truly innocent person who was only pilloried for partisan
reasons. A hero for the modern New Right.
This kind of analysis is one reason Obama won the vote of thinking people.
He would like to extend his thanks those who helped him win with this stuff.

NW30, let me ask you a few things. Were you a Nixon supporter during his presidency, and did you vote for him in 1972? Lastly, do you feel that he got a bad rap regarding his participation in Watergate, and do you think that he should have forded the problems he faced and struggled to retain the presidency?

Not yet. His testimony this AM reinforced my post just above. He testifies again this PM.

The only sword I can think of that Obama holds over Petraeus's head is a court martial. That could reduce or eliminate his pension and/or cost him prison time ... piddly stuff compared to some of the threats he's faced on the battlefield.

Anyone who doesn't understand the extreme national importance of this coverup is very ignorant AND has zero moral or legal expectations of their leaders.
