So NW30, if this Republican Representative in the House from Florida has a hissy fit about not getting what she wants, I'm somehow supposed to be impressed. The way I look at it, Secretary Clinton's schedule and her responsibilities far outweigh what this Committee Chairman in the House might demand to address her specious agenda.
The Republican House leadership is a joke. |

That is some funny shit NW. If you can't take feedback, maybe a journal would be a better option than a forum, don't you think? They make some nice moleskin ones, you can rant all you want, undisturbed! |

Now Panetta has outed Obama, stating on the public record that Obama WAS present in urgent NSC meetings 50 minutes after the initial Benghazi attack began. No wonder he's being replaced. |

Sex, lies (or lives), and video tape, whatever it takes to get to the bottom of this story which just seems to be getting bigger and bigger.
This whole thing will be in the headlines for quite some time to come, as it should be.
It could be a new TV reality show, "Military Wives of Benghazi".
Did BHO know about the affairs also? Does BHO know about anything what goes on behind his back? Does he even care?
Probably not. |

NW...Eric Cantor was told the entire affair on Oct 30, why didn't he go to anyone? |

NW--the moment some attack on Obama is posted on a right wing site you repost it here--wiothout, of course, checking the facts or doing any independent analysis. Not only do you have too much time on your hands, but you are an indictment of the ability of schools of your generation to teach critical thinking skills.
Walks away, shaking his head and aghast at the way hatred of a politician hijacks the capacity to think.
You might actually read some of the rebuttals--but maybe you can blame Obama for not having an affair with Petraeus. Everyone else--including Mike Fick--seems interested in the idea. |

Good question, but it's minor compared to the current daily events as the story continues to grow.
Here's a better question~
Why was Petraeus so adamant about the terrorist attack being a result of a video, when he testified in front of congress, that we all now know wasn't the reason?
He's the head (or was) of the CIA, he's supposed to know where all the bodies are buried, so why the story line?
He probably knew he was under investigation, so he probably felt he had to tow the line, even if it was nothing but a story line.
It all blew up in his face anyway, thanks to Jill Kelly. He may end up in jail for perjury. |

NW... the thing about Cantor confirms one thing. The idea that they waited until after the election to break the news and spare Obama the emabarassment is bunk because Cantor certainly would have leaked it if he thought it would hurt the president.
In regards to your question. I really think the CIA must have been doing some extremely classified exercises involving captives. And the CIA was doing what it could to keep the thing quiet, and obviously it didnt work. Its the only explanantion I can think of. I dont think for a second that the US was negligent in protecting its consulate. |
