It looks like a slight shift to Saturday.
With a little bit of a walk 3.5 hours before high tide is OK.
Heads up Chris, Saturday afternoon could be good.

If the wind comes, we'll see you there on Saturday. The iWindsurf forecast may drop later today or tomorrow when the computer models switch from GFS to NAM, but the GFS model that predicts the stronger winds is probably better for Skaket on Saturday.
With the low tide not being very low @ 1.5 ft, do you think we can we start a bit earlier than usual (3 hours before high tide)?

Hi Peter:
A weak tide might gain you a little time, but not a hour

Thanks, Ron. Looks like the forecast has shifted to Sunday and keeps going down slowly. However, maybe we'll get a repeat of today, with winds at the best sites 5-10 mph above what the computer models predicted. The air may be a bit chilly, but the water is still nice & warm, and we should get some sun. Hope to see you there around noon if the wind does indeed come.
Peter

hmmm
Mixed messages are being sent from written forecasts vs. what the skirt and ties are saying on TV. Either way, I hoping to get at least one day in.

I'll be there (Skaket) around noon if wind is available. Meteogram looks a little better tonight.
Has anyone sailed Duck Harbor in Wellfleet on WNW because tide is really not an issue there like Skaket.?? Can non residents park there off season??
