UPDATE:

I am up late at night surfing the internets and found my old post... I ended up buying a 2012 96L Tabou 3S. I haven't had it long and only sailed it a couple of times so far. It's definitely easier to sail and "better" than my old Flow 266 (93L) which is now on consignment. To be perfectly honest, I still don't feel like I have it dialed in yet which is a little frustrating. When I borrowed a 2009 Exocet Cross 95L earlier this summer I got it dialed almost immediately and thought it was an awesome board. If it ever gets windy again I'll keep working on the set up.

2012 3S 96L was a new board shape. It would certainly be on and near the top of my short list.

Curious it never made yours, how did you pick it over the others ?

Some boards are plug and play others need some fiddling to tune. What is the issue ?

I know several people who LOVE the 3S, give it time & I bet you will too.

If you ever get any board "dialed in", in the sense that no matter how hard you push it, it never surprises you, let us know. In particular, tell us how you did that. I suspect very few sailors who really push their gear and themselves ever reach that point, not likely in one ordinary season and certainly not in two days.
