You can leave a stranded sailor, but to be totally legal you need to smack them in the face with an open hand first. |

Sorry for jumping on ya Spennie, but the retired LEO in me gets my hackles up when people claim laws that I have serious doubt exist or perhaps were misread <- Former motorcop look.
I get nervous when good intentioned people make thing worse because they get involved when they would have been wiser calling for help. Always better to assess first before jumping in. But I can't think of any reason to stay out sailing when you should have gone in and made the call for help.... |
