bajaDean,

You obviously are intelligent, write very well, do amazing research, but you just cherry picked two very insignificant points and write a thesis on old history. A little informative, but boring.

Why not address the point that someone in the Obama administration tried to orchestrated a cover up (or deflection) from what really happened in Libya.

I have no idea whether Obama had anything to do with, or any knowledge about not providing the additional security that the Embassy repeatedly asked for, but there is no doubt that after the attack, he very likely had something to do with the attempt to deflect away from the truth. Too many of his cohorts were singing the same song (but out of tune).

My points are the failure in security including methodology, structure, personnel have to be the responsibility of the right wing who control every aspect of it at this point.

As far as what was occurring at the moment was the responsibility of the military security complex. We do not expect any liberal being allowed in the circle of micromanaging these instantaneous events. That process was defined by those in security and intelligence. As I noted i believe classic in-breeding of like minded fools is responsible for our security that keeps us blind and not secure.

That is why I believe we need a wholesale firing of the majority of the so called intelligence that has failed us and continue too. The counter terrorism officer who prevented the Minnesota FBI office of pursuing the lead about students not learning to land a jet was promoted, whereas I would have him at best going through garbage cans on a daily basis. again the security of the USA is a right wing responsibility for all of its incredibly funded failures in various area.

here is the former head of GE that ownes NBC...

Quote:
Former GE CEO Jack Welch says White House manipulated jobs data

By Tim Catts, Bloomberg News

at the bottom they do at least point out....
Quote:

As CEO, Welch earned the nickname “Neutron Jack” after cutting more than 100,000 jobs in the 1980s to help boost profits.

more liberal media

http://washingtonexaminer.com/what-unemployment-rate-conspiracists-were-saying/article/feed/2036557?custom_click=rss#.UG-t7k3A_Kc

Quote:
— "I don't think (the Bureau of Labor Statistics) cooked numbers. I think a bunch of Dems lied about getting jobs. That would have same effect," tweeted Conn Carroll, an editorial writer at the Washington Examiner.

what is particularly offensive about this editorial writer from the right wing is he has absolutely no facts to back up his hate. He has not one fact to back up his big lies. Like these dems decided for political purposes to stop getting un-employment to make a political statistical point. This is the media out there and his non-factual hate is posted all over the media to attack a fact that is not convenient for right wingers, un-employment did go down. So instead of the proven right wing owned media telling how this is a breakthough and positive, they launch this troll without facts and former CEO of the media/GE with no facts also to back up his hate speech.

I would like to see a liberal owned media....

Jon Hubbard, a Republican member of the Arkansas House of Representatives, has written a new book in which he says slavery was "a blessing" for African-Americans, among other questionable statements.

Hubbard, a first term Republican from Jonesboro, Ark., makes a series of racially charged statements in the self-published book, including saying that integration of schools is hurting white students, that African slaves had better lives under slavery than in Africa, that blacks are not contributing to society, and that a situation is developing the United States which is similar to that of Nazi Germany.

where is that liberal media exposing the core values of that even elected right wing party.

Romney gives a superb foreign policy speech; the media says he's just acting.

Obama totally blows a debate because he has no teleprompter from which to read speeches written by speech writers; the media says he was "distracted", tired, or was stricken dumb and angry by the altitude.

you are too funny again and again... first in the debate rumney gave no specifics except fire big bird. He lied through his teeth and the media does not go after him for that. See if it was a liberal media that is all they would talk about.

as far as the foreign policy speech his war talk, no specifics guy did it again, the media will not go after him for just no examples hate speech.... well we had another war president recently named Bush who loved to invade a country that had NO terrorism support. Seems it is past your pay grade but the majority of the 9-11 hijackers were from Saudi Arabia and even had funding from sources that had ties to bush family financial people. and Bush also was a tough talker with no specifics and look what happened with his hate talk...

another so called liberal from the Fox training network is Lou Dobbs. Interesting he is married to a hispanic in his second marriage. But the reason I also bring this up is because how Fox is acting about killing big bird to help with the deficit.... they are all for it and making a big deal about the 400 million or so for PBS, which big bird gets about 8 million.

Well it turns out Lou the former CNN to Fox right winger, you know that CNN that to date has never had a partisan liberal on the so called liberal network. Where Nancy grace, Larry King, bill Hammer, tucker, Paula Zahn, Jack Cafferty all partisan right wing wack jobs are or come from.

Well any way Lou the economics graduate made a huge deal about the liberals wanting to cut 45 billion in subsidies to the richest companies in the world the oil companies. Lou on fox argued this is ridiculous because it is only something like 0.00008 percent of the problem.

well right wingers who are math challenged, which is larger 45 billion or 400 million. by what percent... where is the media pointing out Fox and right wing hypocrisy...

During the Gulf War of 1991, General Electric owned NBC. General Electric was one of the world's largest defense contractors, contributing to nearly every weapons system deployed in the Gulf War. The gushing coverage given to America's "smart bombs," Patriot Missiles, Tomahawks and the like, when presented on NBC, was admiring its owner's handiwork. The NBC president killed a story that even Tom Brokaw wanted aired about the "collateral" damage that the U.S. bombing inflicted onto Iraq's civilian population. Those conflicts of interest pervade America’s mainstream media.

Quote:

There are "gentler" paired examples to demonstrate the dynamics at work. One was a pair of military missile attacks on commercial airliners. The Soviet Union shot down one, and the United States shot down another. In 1983, a South Korean passenger jet flew hundreds of miles off its course, flying over sensitive Soviet airspace at night. The Soviet Union shot it down. Five years later, an Iranian airliner took off from Tehran in broad daylight, flying over the Persian Gulf. The United States shot down that airliner. They make an instructive paired example. The Soviet shooting was far more understandable than the United States'. Soon after the Soviet attack, the United States had intelligence showing that the Soviet Union thought it was shooting down a spy plane.

How did the American media respond to those tragedies? The U.S. media's condemnation of the Soviet shoot down was universal. Dan Rather called it a "barbaric act." Nightline devoted eight consecutive shows to the event. Koppel had viewers call in, asking whether the Reagan Administration "should take strong action against the Soviets." More than 90 percent said yes. The portrayal of the Soviets as inhuman monsters fit perfectly with Reagan's propaganda objectives, whipping up support for his Star Wars plan. On Nightline, right wing hawks dominated the guest list - George Will, William F. Buckley, William Safire, Jesse Helms and others. Condemnation was nearly universal, and Koppel himself chimed in, stating there was not "any question that the Soviet Union deserves to be accused of murder, it's only a question of whether it's first degree or second degree." Right-winger Terry Dolan even stated, "anyone who would suggest the U.S. would ever consider shooting down an unarmed civilian plane is downright foolish and irresponsible."
