mrgybe, there is little reason for me dish up a long list for you, because you have no intent on accepting anything that I might say. I have made my views on Romney, and what he is campaigning on, quite clear over time. There is way too much important information missing in what he's promoting. One of my favorite topics is how he's going cut tax rates even further than the all time lows we've had for the last 10-12 years, and mysteriously he's going to keep incoming tax revenues neutral, not to mention begin addressing our deficit and debt. Do you believe that fantasy story? Oh, he's going to eliminate tax deductions that he conveniently omits. Then there's his line that he is going to create a vibrant private business environment that will suddenly generate new high paying middle class jobs that will bolster the sagging economy and flood the IRS with increased tax revenues. Where's his honesty, transparency and candor about things he wants to do? It's not there. It's all simply a dishonest sales pitch to fool folks too dumb to realize that they're being sold nothing but BS.
While I briefly mentioned it earlier, what do you think about the "new" Romney that now believes in financial regulations and many important aspects of the ACA, after railing against them throughout is candidancy? Things just need to be tweaked here and there and everything will be sweet. Again, where's the important details? Do you actually think that he intends to share any of this missing stuff with the nation before the election? |

I take it then that you can't actually cite one of the "steady stream of outright falsehoods Romney blurted out" during the debate that were so obvious to you at the time. Perhaps falsehoods are not the exclusive domain of Romney. |

That is true. Accountability is different than political advantage--and it requires facts. I know that makes you uneasy, you're not sure if you can find any. |

Boggsman...I thought you were being hard on Obama until I watched a recording of video clips from the debate. I had listened to the debate on the radio and had a somewhat different take. Although I was impressed with Romney's performance in this "theater", I did not feel he presented anything new. Really, neither one did. |

Romney lies? Try the $716 billion, again. Easy to fact check. Try the 12 million jobs. But mrgybe will like that, that's based on a white paper about pandering to the carbon industry. None of it is possible. But he sure twisted those etch-a-sketch dials. Seems like he hardly new Paul Ryan's budget. |

CB I'm just critiquing the style of the debate. From a content standpoint it was a zero . Romney lied his ass off, and Obama ran with his same old tired lines. |
