ARA1 - it was probably an 86L rather than 85L. Compared to the Cult Wave, I thought that the Quatro single fin had better control and speed in the turn - just seamed easier to set the rail and plane out of the jibe. I also thought it did better getting upwind. Seemed about the same for speed and getting on the plane. |

Kmf.. Thanks so much for the review clip.. And your comparison of rrd cult to fsw.. Helps a lot since i also have the 2008 fsw 105 and is a great reference point for me!
U2 and Bayside thanks again for your input.. All very helpful.
Man if i had a big truck.. I sure woukd have a lot more boards i believe..
It is turning into an addiction.. But thank god i have a minivan and i cant squeeze more than 3 boards in there. Maybe be 4 if i try hard.
Keeps my impulses in check. Lol
I commited to the cult 85 2008... Will try it and see how it goes. If it offers the same planing and bump and jump as my kode.. With the addeded rrd smoothness and better wave performance. It could be a keeper..
I will report back as soon as i get it and ride it .
Cheers to u all. Thanx |
