The iWS moderators don't want us to discuss possible problems with windsurfing-direct?
I checked their web site. They have a small selection of sails in limited sizes, and there's a note that says they are no longer stocking new windsurfing boards. |

They'd say it's a libel issue, yet they allow undeniably libelous posts by the hundreds on their paying customers, opening themselves to suits should those posts incur fiscal damages. Go figure. |

I was going to respond to the original poster (who is in Montreal) that Loopee in Montreal has Tabou. Didn't when I found it locked. http://www.loopee.ca For what it's worth! |

Don't forget 2 Rad in Montreal. Bruno is great.
Early last summer, from California, I bought a consignment Goya wave board that was in A+ condition. Montreal to San Francisco. Great deal. Go figure.

To answer the original question: Yah, McGinnis probably threatened someone with a lawsuit. He's been known to do that. _________________ __________________________________________

this is a better site for loopee, who say they are a Washington, DC based internet company, not showing a physical address, but US phone number.
Im aware of of least 1 person who has ordered a board from them.
so far as Tabou I would consider using a East Coast dealer, Wind NC in Hatteras. None of the New England shops come to mind that carry Tabou. _________________ K4 fins

I believe Loopee is run by Louis-Philippe Genereux a Canadian windsurfer living in DC. _________________ Support Your Sport. Join US Windsurfing!
