Hey Ron,

Looking forward to seeing you at Kalmus today. We plan to arrive as soon as the wind meter shows 18. Sunny, SW, 20+ and relatively warm -- sounds good. Glad you will be joining us.

Full moon tides will delay significant swell build at Horseneck until noon on Monday- duh- toda . Low tide around 3 pm will give best swell, and potentially into the evening if the wind backs off a little. Some small shorebreak at 9 am.and wind gusting to 26. If there's enough West in the wind, launching will be easy from anywhere along the beach for those who don't like Gooseberry.

It was a classic fall homecoming event at Kalmus with many long timers. Gerda said the noon hour gusts were to 42.

SUP Buddy Weed made sure no one was fooling around in the parking lot.

Some guy in front of me launched a fantastic jump; no loop but high, far and in control.

I can say I did it; but thinking back, Kalmus did me today.

Hardings was fun! I missed the big winds as I was in Boston mid day but got to Hardings around 4:30. Still good 4.7m conditions.

Sorry about raining on your party, but I didn't sail yesterday and worked instead. It was not an ideal windsurfing day for sure. If you rigged for the gusts, I would definitely imagine you were slogging a lot. My old rotator cuff parts do not get excited about seeing their respective humerus being pulled out of it's socket, either. On top of that the water has grown colder on the cape and that makes old age injuries much more possible and extensive.

You are not raining on anybody's party....

Please stay in your armchair and tell us how bad the conditions were.

Sorry that you can't sail........At least you can still type!
