No reason not to believe him. He doesn't know you, you don't know him. Only if you sail the Gorge will you two meet. MChaco will meet him someday.

Skill in sport is a funny thing and can be linked to aging. What you can do at 20 is a lot different than what you can do at 60. An experienced 40 year old should be a lot better than an experienced 70. Consequently, I can claim I was adept at many moves when much younger, but can't perform them now. Since there isn't anyone around to support or refute my claims, they can't be challenged.
