If it's glass and got wingers, it's the Trilobite version. But the non-winger
versions ate chop also.

Cadillacs in heavy chop. Glad you're getting the good stuff at the Hatch.

Had my first (and second and third) day this weekend. I couldnt believe the size of the swells...I thought " what have I gotten into" the first time across, but was having a great time by sunday. Heres a little clip from Saturday. I tried the Quatro FSW 95L with the 4.0..nope. Back to the logosz spoon

It does handle chop amazingly well. Im not sure which is the trilobite version, but mine probably qualifies. The nose is about as pointy as a barge Laughing That would be a good design for it if I ever repaint it...

Congrats on the inaugural Hatchery sail! A fantastic memory for sure, I bet. Just wait til you sail Arlington in the spring. To me it's the best place in the world. Solid wind, massive rolling swell, and cool silo to look at.

The Hatch is nice and I spend a lot of time there, and Rosey
is sweet when it's on, but The Wall is the call.

I didn't say "OO" or "little glass board". I specifically, deliberately, purposefully, very "informedly" said "Bonzer", as in the proprietary Gorge Animal Bonzer. At your stage and with your go for it attitude they are absolutely in a class by themselves when powered fairly consistently with a 2.8 to 5.2 (7'-6" to 8 foot models, same volume with different nose and tail treatments). My own first-hand, head-to-head testing revelation caused, not followed, my preference for them, and many other aggressive intermediate sailors fully concurred. Find one, power it up, push it way past your present limits, and those limits will just go "POOF" ... beyond your wildest imagination, immediately. Tip: don't try it in January; you will get mighty wet your first gusty day on any board that size.

Didja know Logosz designed the Spoon to sail pointy-end first, then one day decided on a lark to stick the fin and straps on the pointy end and sail it backwards, and The Logosz Spoon was born? No lie, no rumor; straight from Tony's lips to my ears at Micheal Low's (Performance Windsurf Report) house in Hood River.

I know that you meant bonzer specifically, I had the OO to fill that niche but now dont, so Im still looking for an actual bonzer to put there (the OO was in place of finding what I really wanted)

Not sure what you mean by wingers but it has a pintail, here it is:

In other news I made my first ever full jibe at the Hatch today Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy It was very unexpected and it took me a few moments to realize what had happened...Followed by a completed jibe ending in a roundup and splash in the light wind area downwind of the point Laughing Now just to make that happen everytime..

Yup ... there's the wingers ... the slight hitch in the rail line near the tail, visible in contrast to the fin in this photo. On a different note, your board's upside down. I NEVER let the business side (the bottom) of my boards or my fins for that matter, touch anything but padded bag, air, water, or groomed lawn. I cringe when I see people leave their boards belly down on asphalt or rocks or getting ground away at the water's edge.

Those are wingers, but that's not quite the Trilobite version. It had
hard wingers and a wing tail, so kind of a double winger configuration.
Anyway, the one you have is still a chop eater, and probably a great
ride for an intermediate sailor. Now that I know your ride, I'll introduce
myself sometime, like maybe this Saturday ;*)
