Kid care today - I hoping that junior is up for a skate/scooter session at Barnstable's Rec Center or Fun Box; giving me a break to hit the world famous Kalmus Beach.
Mostly gravy today after a bonafide rite of passage session with Leslie

Nauset report at noon: Wind light 15-16mph, slightly offshore. Small waves look fun, but some shore pound. Lots of beachgoers- no sailors.
Don't know if I'm hanging around if nobody else shows up.

I had to stay local, so I sailed Nahant from 12:45
to 2:15. Not what I'd call an epic sesh, but the wind
was side-shore blowing maybe 16-17 and there were
sets of chest high waves interspersed with some a bit
smaller and some bigger. 'Toine Bo was SUPing, Sergey
was on a nice old Angulo, I was on my Goya Quad 92
with a 5.3 sail. Plenty of power to get out, and nice on
the waves. I got maybe 15 fun DTL rides, getting maybe
4-5 turns on each wave.
Beautiful day, no crowds. Good fun, I'm glad I went.

A view from the clew.
Clew-View works better on a wave if you duck the sail and go down the line clew first.
