Anyone know if there is a wetsuit repair person in the bay area? I have a Neil Pryde 5/3 ; the neck to shoulder seam came undone, needs regluing and stitched. Must be those massive pecs I've develop over this great season.
Thanks

I 2nd the recommendation for Blown Out Wetsuits.

They are on Portola Drive just across from the 7-Eleven near 30th Avenue. Not too far from 41st Avenue which has an exit from Hwy 1.

Most scuba dive shops will repair wetsuits.
It's a good place to get the best neopreme cement too. Aquaseal drys too hard, not good for flexable wetsuits.

Trying a bicycle repair kit today, since the cement is similar, although the patch really requires a smooth surface, which the inside of a wetsuit isn't. It's just a small hole in the seam, so we'll see. I've ordered a $10 wetsuit repair kit from ebay too, for future use. The wetsuit itself was only $40.

The best repair for a seam is to glue the neopreme edges, then sew the material together with a loop stitch (didn't mama teach you how to sew?). The cheep wetsuits don't even bother with glue. they just sew the seams.

Or just buy a new one a Wallymart (oh yea the summer stuff was on sale last month, it's time for xmas now.)
