Of course, then again, only the new North's are draft back, added luffcurve sails. NP's are very long boomed. But other sails haven't embraced the long boom low aspect idea fully. |

What do you mean by extreme mast bend? Is north changing the mast curve yet again?

We're talking about '12 North Formula sails, not any other models.
Perhaps SteveBodner can answer about their slalom sails. |

I was referring to what 'mac' was sayiing:
"The 2013 North 10.0 is 8 cm longer than the 2012, and the mast track needs to be further forward and the harness lines much further back. COE is further back, I've not tried to measure how far. Steve Sylvester and Jason Ward are pretty happy with the 2013 North 9.4's performance, compared to the 2012 9.3"[/i] |

Whatever, we're talking the same thing.
Increased luff curve, much further back draft, long booms, a sail looking unlike any previous North racing sails. |
