I'm wondering if things are getting shaken up.
Light to no wind and bonafide waist plus sets coming in this morning made it one the finest surfing days yet this summer.
Monday night solo'd from 6:50 to dark-7:40 - A / nice
Yesterday morning with a still wet wet suit in knee to waist sets with only one other guy another homey doing it laydown style. - A / Very Good
This morning - A+ / Really good!

PS - To get the blood pumping a quick bike up to Coast Guard, revealed that Gil was doing the early shift |

Yep, there will be a lot of long period water moving around the east coast over the coming week or so... hope it sticks; though no direct heavy storm impacts?! |

A slow work week not wasted
Something is happening out there.
No question there were longer calm periods today, but some significant stuff still rolled in. As a lone SUP'r against 30 proners, 20 or so were camp kids, I was able to troll 150' further out and dole out the food as needed. One guy called it a dirty wave as I hung on breaking at near head high. My daughter translated: dirty = sick = wicked = just plain good.
Near glass, great rides and my daughter getting her share = Grade A+
I brought my Robert August along; too bad it just collected dust under the truck
4 aces in a row, maybe a personal best

RC , I thought you were full of it till i checked it myself and had a really nice susnset sesh with yes, "near head high'....long period stuff
I'll claim some 200 yard thigh burning rights and some racetrack lefts.
Weird how spaced the pulses were though... _________________ https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=2&v=zw0MgkO7VXw |
