Rule of thumb in life. Don't speak until spoken to, especially when dealing with people senior to you. |

Sadly it seems that sailingjoe has crawled out from under his rock and has decided to troll and and originate as many threads as possible using his well known eloquence to put us all in our place. He thinks MFC fins are overpriced, if you ask him his sail size he'll play with his wang, and he's got a great artistic sense too.
Can't wait to see if he's writing a book on forum etiquette, it'll be a best seller.
Jules Verne was spot on- the Morlocks really do exist. |

Ahh, Brucie, ever the diplomat.
How come you no longer post using one of your other 85 aliases? One of them is "prabably" senior to the others... |

Would you please stick to more plebeian vocabulary? Your friends here have no idea what you're talking about |
But look at the great result! SWC used the same word in his response and, I'm told by my sources on the left coast, now routinely uses it in conversation! |

My mind springs to Humpty Dumpty Mr. Gobbdog.
As little Alice first came across him sitting on a wall, pompously and resolutely staring straight ahead and ignoring her, (not speaking till spoken to perhaps), she couldn't help blurting out "And how exactly like an egg he is."
That opened the floodgates to a gloriously illogical and silly conversation during which Humpty, puffing out his chest said, "When I use a word (emphasis on I) it means just what I choose it to mean - neither more nor less."
But we all know what happened to Humpty, he had a great fall! (The law enforcement agency of the day (all the Kings men) couldn't put him back together again!) ( ) |

mrgybe, I have to admit that I did look up the word to find its exact meaning. Nevertheless, I knew very well what you were getting at. I thought it would be fun to return the volley using your words in my post fingering Krauthammer, a right wing ideologue of the worst sort.
Have I used that word again, or do I have any plan to? No. It's a bit too British for me. |

Pablum was used in the L.A. T.V. media a number of years ago by some moron. After that everyone picked it up. He coined a phrase >>Pablum puking liberals<< |
