Hi all,

My carbon NP X9 boom needs some love, the tail piece cracked and needs to be replaced, the boom head lets the arms slip and the grip could use a regripping. Anyone know someone in the Bay Area who can repair it?

I would start by calling David Wells & Cort Larned @ 101 Surf Sports in San Rafael 415-524-8492 (shop) or 415-699-7979 cell, they sell them and can repair them

For those interested, I went to Surf Sports 101 and they took care of me. They did a great job, I took my boom there, it'll cost $20 for the new part, they'll fix the boom, but they gave me a loaner in the meantime. Definitely worth supporting the local shops like these guys, Delta, Sunset...

Tough to get your boom repaired or last minute replacement parts from the intertubes. Wink

Wonders if they can fix this x6?? Less then 6 months old.

Looks like i would need a brand new head.

Really wonder about the material they are using in the connector piece seems to be too thin..

Not buying another np boom.. Left me stranded..
