Absolutely freakin' epic day on Lake Champlain today!! I spent the entire morning (8am-noon, with a couple breaks) on 4.5 in and out of Burlington Bay, overpowered more often than not. Zipped out past Juniper Island briefly and the swell on the broad lake was phenomenal, but the wind was just a bit too much out there even with the 4.5 rigged flat as a pancake, so I spent most of the time in the sweet breeze coming off of Shelburne Bay. Afternoon obligations pulled me away or I'd have probably sailed 'til I broke myself. Cool

Bummer both the Colchester Reef Gauge and the White's Beach Gauge were down all day; I'd have loved to see what they were reading through this once-in-a-blue-moon blow. Anybody know of other wind gauges on the lake that might have captured it?

Not too many of us sail out of Burlington Bay, but most of us were out there today. Hope you regulars of other launches were out getting after it too. Would love to hear your reports of the day.

Grayson~
Saw your letter on the Ezzy web site, I can relate to everything you said.
My quiver is nothing but Panthers, all I do is waves on the west coast.
But your observations are the same with the Panthers as well.

Ezzys are the best.
