Dust off those 70 liter boards and 3.7m sails. I should arrive in New England on or about August 1.

Plan your sick days, vacationdays and honey do's now to avoid disappointment.

I have it from a usually reliable source that the wind will come with me.

no not hot air ...WIND ****

As an additional measure I'm bringing boards of only 135L or more, a sure prediction that the winds will be strong.

Looking forward to Humpty Dumpty potato chips, lobster, and Gearys Ale, not necessarily in that order, a few whoopie pies may be on the menu.

those in NY Mass NH and Maine may see a Silver/Blue Ferrari cleverly disguised as a Chrysler Van streak by, start rigging right then.........

And I'm leaving New England to move to Florida on Sunday, so that should also help lift the curse. Cool

OK U2(x3), I'm going to hold you to that. I'll be on the Cape then, so am ready for those flows. If the forward-looking forecasts are to believed, some light potential Wednesday pm and good potential Thursday. I wouldn't mind some sooner but would still be happy with some mid/ late week sessions.

Don't believe U2! I spent a windless week with Gary in Hatteras and the only good thing that happened was that I got his English egg-toast-beans recipe. Time to paint the garage!
;~)

back home, sailed almost every day, some multi sessions, but it really wasn't stellar for wind,

8.5m most days and really only overpowered one day, then a 7.5m

What was really special was I sailed my first board that I made a fin for last winter, on light wind days, like 10--12mph, with a Hot Sails Maui Superfreak 5.8, and it was brilliant, such good FUN, very mellow, and with that huge centerboard could sail most of the 8mile long lake.

the lobster, IPA (beer), whoopie pies, Humpty Dumpty salt and vinegar chips , blue berry pie , blue berry muffins, jam, fresh corn, potatoes, tomatoes, the ladies bake goods from Saint Annes church in Calais, ME
and the concert by COIG which rivaled any I have seen.......

did I have a good time ? aside from gas in Mass on the turnpike for 4.29 a gallon VS 3.59 in Iowa, and speed limits with other than 7 as the first #

does Raggedy Ann have cotton socks ?
