After almost a 2 month hibernation, a decent fall-like blow came through this morning at Orleans' Skaket.

I was just about the last one to show up at 6:15; and last to leave. It was 6 or 7 to 1, no problem with me being to lone windsurfer in my so-called backyard.

Well powered on a 5.0 with kiters happy on a 10 meter.

Flat out Grade A good.

RC

If Robby Naish showed up with nothing to do and no gear, I bet he would have made my old sled sing.

Musta been windy at Jerry's house.....soooner or later one is gonna hit his roof:

CHATHAM — A 32-year-old skydiver was badly injured Wednesday afternoon while landing at the Chatham Municipal Airport .

The woman, who was parachuting in tandem with an instructor, had a "hard landing" at 2:20 p.m., Chatham fire Lt. David Ready said.

A MedFlight helicopter took her to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston where she will be treated for leg fractures, a fire official said.

She and her instructor came down on the grassy part of the airport where the skydive operation typically lands with its customers, he said.

"Everything was going fine until the landing," Ready said. Shocked (Ya think?)

Interesting that two people are sandwiched together and one is fine and the other needs to get mediflight to Boston? Just shows how much safer the back seat is!! Shocked
They have been making a ton of jumps in the last few weeks. Plane lands and they just go right back up.

"Everything was going fine until the landing,"
it would be that way if you jumped without a parachute!! Laughing
