I was on my way back over the bridge today on my way home and
admiring the shiny blue Audi TT in front of me, when I noticed a Boom
through the back window, then I noticed a board under the boom, and a
Northwave sail (I think it was a Northwave). In fact, it looked like
an entire rig inside that pretty TT.

Only in Hood River.

Only in Hood River: the wind could suddenly die from low 20 down to 10 in the middle of a great day.

Whats worse? Polite 20 mph wind that dies or 40 plus mph blasts at rowena.
200lb good sailors on 3.3. I can't beleive we go out in that wind, but we do.

It can also do the opposite and turn a glassy day into a great day like last Thursday.

Also amazing what a difference a few miles can make.
Look what the wind was doing at Doug's when it died at the Event Site.
