LOL!! Is that Photoshopped? It's coming back to me now. Dan is a good guy. I heard he sailed the first Blow Out? Didn't look that huge parked in front of his house?

I saw this thing today and it wasn't as big as that picture made it look. Parked across the point area it could conceivably take up five spaces, but the spot he had it parked practically took up two spaces at best.

Sailing conditions have been really good lately, and during the week there has been plenty of parking spaces empty at prime time at the hatchery, the census is definitely down, the new gravel is great, plenty of spaces available, so why the whining? Weekends, different story.

I have no idea why anyone parks or launches from there when it's so much easier to launch somewhere else, and sail there...

A brief history might be helpful to put this into perspective.
The Taj MahDan ( /ˈtɑːdʒ/ or /ˈtɑːʒ məˈdɑːl/;Hindi: ताज महल, from Persian/Urdu: تاج محل "crown of palaces", pronounced [ˈt̪aːdʒ mɛˈdɛl]; also "the Taj") is a local tribute to the gaudy white marble mausoleum located in Agra, India. It was built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his third wife, Mumtaz Mahal. The Taj Mahal is widely recognized as "the jewel of Muslim art in India and one of the universally admired masterpieces of the world's heritage".
The Taj MaDan is considered one of the finest examples of Rvs in the local surfing community. The Taj Mahal is the finest example of Mughal architecture, a style that combines elements from Persian, Turkish and Indian architectural styles.

Personally, I dig it. Chill out.
