|
|
Left a red 5.0 RRD WaveVogue sail on the grass at the Event Site to dry today under the metal cable on the West side. Walked back to the office and when I finally got back the sail was gone. It was windy so not impossible some gusts moved it out from under the cable and it blew away. Did anyone see a red sail flying across the lawn and in to the water or did anyone see someone roll it up and take it?
Didn't mean to leave it there so long but got stuck on the phone. _________________ www.jp-australia.com

Didn't see it, but uv -- not to mention thieves or accidental abduction or wind or abrasion or kids or dogs -- are all bigger risks to our sails than is water. I never dry my sails deliberately; nature does that just fine rolled up in my van.

I don't usually dry my sails either but was planning on dropping it off for consignment and had just washed it in the river. Will be checking with the Port today to see if they took it but not hopeful at this point.
This was a final prototype so a 1 of a kind sail so maybe I'll spot it somewhere 1 day. _________________ www.jp-australia.com
