Anyone know who makes coal-fiber sails and boards. I don't want to be the one send us to the tipping-point.

This thread is totally messing up my theory.
Powerlines has always been my favorite spot to sail in that area, and all this time I was thinking that it's the best because all the electricity going thru those lines acts like a wind magnet, as well as a swell magnet.
And now you throw windmills into the mix and all my theories are now out the window.
I want my money back for my PHD in physics.

But I did hear that when you clean the blades of the windmills, it makes for good gravy to go with the dead birds.
Expensive energy kill always tastes better than road kill.

If you have sailed power lines than you have seen the red barn across the river.Who do you think owns the red barn?
Hint hint old Mc.?............?..........................I will be including
Mr. Donald in this thread in the hopes of gaining some insight from the master himself. I will make sure to forward his response to the team when more information becomes available on this interesting subject.

JohnKolmos, a windsurfing rep, used to rent that old barn for maybe 10 years back in the mid '90's. Always a wind shadow on the inside on that side of the river.
Every go across to pick the berries? Always a wind shadow.
WHAT windmills? They're in Pittsburg, at the AltamontPass, at DiscoveryBay (upwind on the hills), but WHAT windmills upwind of Powerlines, Sign?
I haven't been up in a couple of years, so just asking.

T H E S E these windmills. That's Marker 14 on the left, my lovely wife Debi on the right. I'll take slightly diminished wind if it slows down the coal burning.

I think they can be kinda pretty. There's a certain kind of enviromentalist who doesn't want anything man-made visible on the planet. Well, that's not going to happen, so let's make the best of it, shall we?

Here's another picture of those "horrifically ugly" windmills, at sundown the same day, July 8th I think.

Photo buffs: Canon S95 pocket camera, full auto, no Photoshop. Best small camera in the world, probably.

Dear windsurfing community,

Thank you for your interest in my wind farm.Myself and 10 other farmers form the WFA (windmill farmers of America)
We are very interested in your proposal to direct the wind energy created by our propellers for the windsurfing community. Unfortunately the high cost of fuel required to run these highly efficient energy saving devices may require a small donation from your interest.

In the past we would have done it at no charge (we like to help people) but due an increase in fertilizer cost we are no longer able to do so.We have our best and brightest on this unexplained decrease in available fertilizer

Here is our proposal.
For $115.00 a year or $9.95 a month we will provide wind on demand. You will no no longer be held ransom by phoney wind 'forecasting' services. Truth be known most are owned by large gas company's who like nothing more than to have you drive all over hell and back chasing after wind.
For a small added cost you can have the windmills controlled from your cell phone. We where going to call it windy but it appears that name was taken.

Thanks for your interest
Mr. 'Old' McDonald.
