You, Mr Bond, have made peace with the river, a joy so very few
will ever have, or understand. I salute you!

p.s. there is a faction of sailors who seem to find this sort of thing
boring, but not I.

Another in real time with real sound. Just for fun.

Thank you. I suppose I have made peace with the river.
Which part do you think they find boring? Watching videos like this, or turning in river waves while holding down a 2.8? |

Well, at least for me, the "No Jumping" sign was on. I felt a little closer to the edge on this day than I have in a while. It was a bit more technical than the video implies. |

I've been told, boring has to do with which foot you turn off of. ;*)
But, I suspect you'd actually have to experience 2.8 conditions, and
big big swells, to understand how charged that really is. Even here
that doesn't happen very often, and I've never sailed anywhere else that
it does.
Anyway, I don't see how anyone could find that video boring,
but I am a cheap wind whore. ;*)

I see. Good to know it's not whether you turn in or out of the strap. I'm guilty of one or the other.
Anyway, it was a fun day, and well worth the drive. |
