Not really. Surfers mostly dont like the windsurfing area because it is windy and breaks on the rocks. In order to force us out they need to surf amongst our fins until they get the numbers and the lifeguards put down their cards and notice, then spend a half hour clearing us out.
Doesnt happen much. When it does thats big news.Arresting Stone aint so smart if you are an elected official.

2 months ago I sailed up from Kuau on a nice size swell. All hell broke out with sirens and bullhorn when I got too close to Hookipa. I was surprised, because I was nowhere near surfers. Anyway, I spoke to the LG and he said no matter what, when there are 10 surfers in the water, it's a no go. Everyone sails at Lanes if this happens. However as KC says, the crowd thins when the wind is up.

However, I enjoy Hookipa when the wind is lighter and this is when there is some crossover.

Seems like a crazy rule when Lanes, and Pavillions are about a mile apart.
