Hey all,

I'm heading up Friday to Sunday to Cocoa Beach Area. I plan on
checking out the local SUP Race event in the mornings but with the
forecast it looks like I'll be SUP surfing or windSUPsurfing. If
anyone is in the area and wants to meet up post or give me a shout.

Also planning on meeting up with John I to try out the Exocet windSUP
while I'm up there. We are tentatively planning Saturday afternoon
Jetty Park. I'll check in with John in the morning for an update and
will post if anyone wants to join us. I want to try that SUP with a
paddle and a sail.

I should be easy to spot with a 11'3 SUP and Bright Orange/Red 6.0
Ezzy sail. Hope to see many of you out this weekend. The forecast is
starting to look pretty good!

If there's any Bioluminescence at the Titusville Causeway and
conditions are nice, we'll be doing a night paddle around 9 PM to see
the glowing waters.

That sounds awesome! I'd be there but I live in New England. Smile

Come and wavesail with us at the Boynton Inlet in the fall, winter and spring. September thru May we get northeast winds of 15 to 25 mph with 4 to 6 foot waves. A 100 liter board and a 6.5 and a 5.3 sail will be good for most of our days. Surf quality equiptment only, slalom gear will break.
The launch can a little gnarly, especially if it is due east. Only advanced intermediate and expert sailors will make it out. The waves out on the sand bar make worthwhile as it a world class spot.
There are only 5 of us who windsurf here regularly. No kiters, they all go to Lake Worth.
We welcome company to our unknown spot!

Thanks for the invite. I'll make it down sometime when there is wind.

A fun afternoon at Jetty Park in Cape Canaveral, FL. We got a chance to meet many of the local windsurfers and Exocet Team Rider:John I brought some of the new Exocet models for us to try out. The 11'8 WindSUP and the 11'5 Curve. Nice 18-20 mph winds and 2-3' waves made for a great demo. I also got a chance to meet up with many of the sailors from the Florida Wave Challenge.

Some pics below:
