Hardie and I got along well today in the playpen of Pleasant Bay.
A little high high tide and NE winds took out the parking lot.

Astronomical high tide took a good chunk out of the beach launch at Chapin. Ken, Wavedawg, Paul F (aka Radar) and I had fun out there in the mist. Waves were getitng pretty big by the time we ended.

so i have to wonder if you would have anticipated the water level coming like that at pleasant bay if you had pulled in at low tide and parked in the usual spot?! where did you guys park?

A good session can be judged by the blisters on your hands and the amount of sea water that comes out of your nose for hours afterwards
By these standards yesterday was NUTS !
North Shore Boyz (Fred and John), Matt got together in Nahant for a Side On, 5.3, Biggo Waves action
With the slightly more NNE wind, you could really go down the line from way out
All sweetness....

Jealous, I haven't sailed in ages and I'm grumpy about it. Glad you guys got out yesterday, was working and meeting with the contractor doing work on our house. Almost as fun . . .

It does feel like the end is in sight. What are you offering? Maybe it would make a good door prize for a baby shower? Or, I should try to trade it for a nice stroller
