My buddy Larry picked up a couple handfuls a few weeks ago while I helped (a little). A ranger happened to be there so I mentioned it to him. He said this has happened before. I asked if he felt it was a purposeful act and he said it certainly seemed that way. Some people just need to screw with others just to keep them happy about something.

or maybe they were put there by kiters just to make it look like people were putting nails there to puncture kiters kites so that way the kiters could blame non-kiters for putting nails to drive away kiters... damn those damn kiters are damn crafty!

There are far too many well dispersed nails for it to be anything but intentional. Someone, clearly needs therapy, or at least a left uppercut, followed by an overhand right. Lotsa barefeet and paws walking in that lot.

Any chance of the CGWA renting a few of these roller tools so we can magnetically remove those nails? I'd show up and spend an hour rolling through the parking lot with it.
