TI was rippin' on Monday. Super nice, smooth swelly conditions... powered up on 4.4/89l. Looking for a repeat tomorrow.

No update, same as last year, minus the sushi bar parked in the cove. I think the only changes I can think of are the following:

- Water faucets outside the abandoned units have been cut off - no water.
- Cove seems to have siltified a bit
- Someone patched all the holes in the fences, you need to walk around it to look at the conditions.

Well I just got back from Tomales and sailed a 4.2 on a chop hopper.
{ big surprise}. The sensor was reading 20 when I left but by the time I got there it was full blown white caps 4.0 to 4.2.
I kept expecting someone would show up while sailing for three hour but no one showed so I had to do my best to ride as many waves as I could till I couldn't sail anymore.
Hoping for a repeat for tomorrow. Anyone want to join me?

Only three people there. it said 24 on the Sensor but felt more like 30 on the water.
Nearly impossible to go down wind. Sensor said gusts to 40 and was probably right on that measurement.
Survival sailing for the most part.

Washoe Lake. With so many to choose from, yesterday may have been the worst ever. Oh yeah, there was wind alright. The first out put on a 3.7 and made one run and came back to the parking lot-always a bad sign. I pointed and said; "You were good there, there and a little bit there." He laughed and said; "Exactly." We all went out with mostly 4.0s, more or less, and small boards. Found frightening gusts right next to death slogs. We all came back for bigger boards and bigger sails as there definitely was wind out there. We all came back and said; "Well that didn't work either." By then the first out guy had left. and the rest of us didn't bother to try again. Okay, we do get lots of good days. But then we get days like yesterday.

Coast Tuesday was sunny, beautiful and super windy . . . . sadly, the waves were a little small and very unorganized. At least, the lower kiting area was wide open . . . .

Think I'll try the Channel today.
