Wifey needs a new harness--suggestions?

My wife has been looking at harnesses online, but is only able to find Dakine & Chinook brands. Doesn't anybody else make high-quality seat harnesses? Not interested in waist harnesses, she wants a seat.

the best ladies seat harness was made by Visual: the "Visuelle" is unsurpassed, period. Unfortunately, they have not been manufactured for a number of years, which is why I have been buying them when they come up on ebay. Which they do, occasionally. Next time you are up, have her try one of mine!

Mystic has a huge line of harnesses and supposedly sells more harnesses than any other brand.

FWIW; I wore out 2 or 3 Visuals-excellent small light seat with fixed hook position. Dakine now making 2 race seats that look good. I am currently using the Pryde Crossover and it is pretty good but hook does fall down at times. Feels weird giving advice to Spennie who I think is quite a bit better than I am.

I think we should focus on what's availible. VisualSpeeds were very good fitting, sewing average at best, materials strong enough, webbing wears out.
Seat harnesses are like wetsuits. Should try it on.
Some sailors, women or men, need perfect fit, comfort, quality, good looks, and size they can handle. Me, I don't care, any higher seat works just fine.
This is like buying shoes for wifey. Can't decide anything unless she is involved.

I've never yet had a virtual or brick and mortar WSing or kiting gear source deny my request to buy, try in my living room, and return soft goods -- e.g., harnesses and wet suits -- that didn't work. They've all been eager to do so, in fact. (NEVER, however, try that with HockeyMonkey or its subsidiaries selling other goods. They flat out lie to you about returnability.)

Not that it means squat to anyone else, as butts and harnesses vary as much as feet and shoes, but I'm impressed with DaKine's new-last-year Reflex harness. I've always preferred their XTSeat, but it went HUGE last year -- too big, too thick, too heavy, too bulky -- and must have bombed, as it got smaller this year. But while looking at it, I spotted the Reflex, the opposite concept to the XTSeat. While the XTSeat is thick and heavy and bulky all over, the Reflex is thick and padded only where there's stress and pressure and thin, light, and supple (NOT flimsy, just form-fitting) where we don't need thick, heavy. bulky padding. I liked it well enough to buy one (haven't yet used it).
