Thats a triple standard deviation!

Good luck with that. I've seen it on TV and heard it on radio, with extensive discussion/debate, at least a dozen times. That toothpaste is already out of the tube, that bell's rung, that horse is out of the county and the barn's burned down, those votes are gone, the EPA is an 800-pound albatross, and the deciding vote -- the independents and undecideds -- are migrating towards ABO in droves. Obama's Big Stick is gonna trip him up as surely as John Edwards' did.

BTW ... who, or what, are those 3% who still approve of Edwards?

That was essentially Cheney's justification for keeping acknowledged innocent detainees at Gitmo -- "it serves as an example and a warning..."

Golf rounds. Now that is a proven metric for success, or for whether or not you love your country. Boy is this high-toned debate.

Par for the course, Mac. Libs= everyone who supports a candidate the poster (or Coulter) doesn't like, notwithstanding that the not-Libs have a record of crushing individual rights as mere ants on the sidewalk.

Anti-abortion bills? Got 'em. Job bills? Not so much.

You know where Republicans really stand out today? Cutting the crap out of everything.

The thing that's missing is their investment in America. Frankly, it's something that doesn't exist. Just look a Paul Ryan's budget. They're not willing to increase taxes, or permit any contribution at all to improve our odds in the long run. But, they're quite willing to cut taxes for those making the most money with no strings attached. It's a bogus move that doesn't create any real jobs or do anything productive.

With their control over the House of Representatives, they could require that any new tax revenue go solely to paying down the deficit and debt. That would make sense to me, and probably to a lot of Republican voters out there. Predictably, they'll never push for that, because their dialog is just BS.

How much did Republicans cut spending and government under the Bush Administration?

There are plenty of Republican congressmen and conservatives like me and my friends who are no longer represented by the GOP.
We would still like to do something good for our country but the Teas in Congress are not going to allow it. Their focus is on gutting the GOP of anyone effective at governing.
That is not why they were elected, but it turns out that good governance, which requires compromise in a large diverse country, is a lot harder than screaming no and bowing to all that applause inside your head.
Many are good people. I think one day they will regret the waste of their time in the House.
