I've sailed there twice during the competition. It is great fun. But, this year there is a conflict with the AWT tour competition in Baja. It would be really cool to have the event one week before or after so some of the pros could drop in and COMPETE!!! A whole bunch of them will be flying into LAX the prior weekend.

Don't forget the AWT is not for pros only. All are welcome to give it a shot in the amateur division. I challenge all comers in the Grand Masters division in PSC...

PS there is a nice little ramp down to the beach for wheelchair access....

The more the merrier..I have a feeling the GM division will be pretty thin on numbers in PSC. I might rank 1st, 2nd and 3rd!

I just started windsurfing in the last couple of months, and I go to Cabrillo about every couple of weeks. I don't know anybody else who windsurfs, but I'm interested in getting into the local community. This race sounds like a good reason to focus and get better over the summer. Are there any local clubs around the South Bay or San Pedro?

Dyno, the race is a good way to get into the community! Stay on this forum and get down to Cabrillo whenever there is a heat wave in L.A. If you get up to Northern L.A. county let us know. Cabrillo is an amazing place in the summer to work on speed, transitions, and jumps.
