It's intentional. He's yanking everybody's collective chain. And laughing.

Yank back. And laugh back.

You still give the weirdo the benefit of the doubt, after his countless proven lies and/or spins? The latest words he put in you mouth here were so obvious, seems he really needs your attention right now.

Hint: Don't talk TO isobars, talk ABOUT isobars. Don't answer TO isobars, but if you feel the need to defend yourself because you've been sabotaged, certainly don't PM him but rather point out his nasty tactics to the rest of the community. Most of all, appreciate the fact that whatever negative energy he wastes on you, he's not wasting on some other poor soul here. What better way to deal with this problem than a socialized approach? Who's turn will it be next week?

All teachers recognise the attention seekers desperately trying to compensate for some character defect. (I once had a phantom farter in a backward class, but I nailed him by logic worthy of that captain of the Cain hunting down his strawberry thief.)

As others say, his attention seeking is deliberate, though he lacks the necessary subtlety to disguise that fact.

Too bad that he doesn't read any of these posts. His own special, one-of-a-kind, personalized, hi-tech, secret, only-he-owns-it, made-it-himself software guarantees that posts from selected people are "plonked."

At this point, he must read the posts from only himself, himself, himself, Matty, Mr. G, and techno. And himself, of course. His posts are most important.

But..... if nothing else, he gets credit for staying power. Iso's like a Timex. His hands keep waving.

And, please..... no sympathies for a guy who happily holds his hand out for a handout. Your tax dollars at work.

And you're still tap dancing. Once again: why does the government have no authority to insist that Big Oil to meet U.S. needs first, yet has some magical authority to force its citizens to buy a product?

You guys have a REALLY hard time with legitimate questions, don't you?

You may be interested in "Gusher" in this weeks New Yorker. Describes Exxon and its hatred for Obama. Describes the reforms made after the Exxon-Valdiz spill as "Some of the reforms made the company resemble a cult."

The love for Hillary had to do with Exxon hiring a former staff of hers in senior management. Funding for warming disinformation and the binder that they all use for staying on message is all described. Certainly stay on message is the watchword of my direct experiences with oil companies and their Western States Petroleum lobbying group. Explains much. But of course will be refuted here--by returning to the messages in the binders.

I got to thinking about mrgybes comments about how petroleum products are the ONLY viable energy source for transportation needs. Certainly, a valid point.

That said (and I am not, necessarily, promoting this)...why are oil companies not treated as public utilities?

You folks thought I was talking about CNG when I mentioned Harris Ranch. It is LNG, see: http://www.pge.com/includes/docs/pdfs/shared/environment/pge/cleanair/naturalgasfleetsuccessstories042705.pdf

The basic answers to why no more use of natural gas in transportation is infrastructure, inertia, and lobbying by the oil companies. Nobody argues that oil will disapper. Rather, that it will continue to get more expensive--more rapidly than other prices rise--for reasons that have nothing to do with Obama or drilling offshore without adequate mitigation. The public policy question is whether or not we will develop alternatives that make economic sense.

The question for the Exxon's of the world is how do they hold onto market share and high profits by torpedoing alternatives. Look at people's financial motives before you believe their bullshit.

Mikey, your questions are kinda like, "Why is up, up?" (Now, if you'd ask a logical question like, "Daddy, why is the sky blue?" then somebody could explain that the Easter Bunny did it.)

Oh, yeah, before I forget ------- Happy Easter, Mikey. Keep looking for those eggs.

You, too, Brucie, if you're on this channel and took off your tin foil hat.

LNG appears the better alternative for large vehicles and single source use. For example central delivery facitlities with the ability to store the LNG. It requires a fair amount of infrastructure to initiate.

CNG is much simpler and could utilize existing pipelines to smaller compressor stations and is appropriate for small vehicles.

Why these fuels are not more widely available is a mystery to me. We produce the natural gas near me and there are no consumer fueling stations.

It is possible to bi-fuel (gasoline and cng) just about any vehicle and credits have been available from the Feds. Yet, it is slow to catch on and has very little public awareness.
