Windalert says Chatham water is 50F. Block Island/Point Judith 50F. coming.....

Not relevant to the actual result of the contest, but very relevant.

I think a week or two from now.

NDBC - Block island buoy (44097) is hoving at 46 degrees for the past month- Nantucket buoy (44020)is up to 44. Don't think Windalert is accurate reading- upper Narragansett Bay is just hitting 50.

I would think for Kalmus we would be using the Nantucket Sound buoy considering it is on Nantucket Sound. http://www.ndbc.noaa.gov/station_page.php?station=44020
It hit 44.6 °F @ 3:50 PM yesterday. it is 43.5 °F now I wonder what it will get up to this afternoon? Rolling Eyes

It hit 48.7 yesterday and held there for three hours!!!
Jeff looking like you have the best shot at it and it could all be over today. Wait a minute! You are the last person that needs sail repair tape!!! Wink

Oh now that I think about it I don't need it either. I use EZZY's!!!! If I win it I'll give it to some NeilPryde owner. Laughing

Windalert's map is showing 51 deg. in Lewis Bay and off Chatham. Wow.

The contest reading at 44020 is now 45.9 on Mar 20.

If no one wins, or if the winner so chooses, we can decide who the most likely candidate of the entrants is to need the repair tape. Someone will be stuck with it.

Jerry, 48.7 ??...no, couldn't be... unless some big whale sat on the sensor for awhile.

I can see the past few days graph by clicking on the graphing icon at the left of "Water Temperature". No 50 today, but I think my April 14 is toast.
