TransWorld Surf magazine is awful

Yes, my first issue of this mag arrived this week in lieu of Windsurfing. I found the mag's layout, topics, and writing to be very substandard. I wrote them and told them to stop sending it--don't need a refund.

What other windsurf mags are out there that are decent?

I returned their postcard with this note: "You never paid me for my article you published two years ago, you publish scores of magazines but let me choose from this short and lame list, and you want my business? Not gonna happen."

The surf magazine had some epic wave shots. I thought it was great! The cover shot was sick!

Now, if we can just get them to cover the Pistol River Wave Bash!!!

The ad about board shorts washed with used skateboard wheels to soften the fabric cracked me up! Nice slashing photo though. I'd buy them if I could ride like that!

Just searched and Boards magazine dropped out over a year ago. That leaves windsport and windsurf...

I wonder if there is a blog somewhere where folks post their skill level, sailing style, where they sail and thoughts about new gear they have tried? Might be worth brewing up....
