We had a Coast Guard rescue 10/29 here in St Simons GA but the sailor lost his board/rig ...Exocet 102 and Ezzy 5.8 It was 4:00 on the outgoing tide, ripping with the new moon. We are glad Burt is ok and have tried everything local to find his rig/board....DNR,pilots air and harbor, Sea Tow. Any help would be great...Burt is in great spirits and will sail again, he was pacing the beach Sunday while we were on another NE20...Thanks in advance, John. |

Still no replies on the lost rig! It's out there somewhere...he (or anyone I know ) did not have his name/number on his board. It's a blue Exocet Cross 102 with a new Ezzy 5.8 I keep hoping it will show up somewhere on the east coast. Burt is a really cool guy and it would be great to get a call from Wilmington or OBX with someone saying they found his board and rig....I wonder what what happens to them condition wise if they stay at sea for a month???
Thanks again...
John

Hey Everybody! Happy New Year ... Thanks for looking...I wonder where the lost ones go?? It's interesting to wonder how long that board/sail could travel around in the ocean....Or it's wall art in some accountant's pad. OR France, where it began. Later. |
